As part of a Santa Priscan government plot to create an army of supersoldiers, a new drug was created. Named Venom, the liquified drug, was tested on several prisoners but failed to yield results. The drug finally worked on a man named Bane and endowed him with enhanced strength. Bane used his power to kill everyone and escape. The drug is highly addictive and requires its user to take a dosage every 12 hours. Its properties also make it highly conductive towards electricity.
