Ubu is the loyal servant of Ra's al Ghul. Ubu's blind obedience makes him a mostly silent accomplice in Ra's' terrorist plots. Ubu draws no opinions of his own and does only what his master bids. Despite his fighting prowess, Ubu was outsmarted by Robin during his master's Flying Island scheme. Upon telegraphing his moves, Robin then activated a flash bang on his steel bo staff and knocked out the villain. He later escaped with Talia and Ra's Al-Ghul. Ubu caught Batman twice on the day his master was to launch a fusion rocket into the Sun. He was later defeated by Wildcat.
