The White House, home of the President, is located in the capitol of the United States of America, Washington D.C. and is no stranger to being under siege. A victim of arson during the Civil War, Washington D.C. was rebuilt and became an important political center as home to the three branches of government.
During World War II, the White House was almost over run by Per Degaton and his robot army. The Justice Society of America teleported there just in time to defend the building.
In the modern era, the White House and the rest of Washington D.C. were under siege by the main invasion forces of Apokolips, led by Kalibak. A battle between the Justice League and Darkseid concluded when several Boom Tubes were activated and sucked the forces back to their home planet. Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor once defeated Cheetah at the Museum of Natural History.Steve Trevor, empowered by the Quantum Vacuum, marched on the White House. Having defeated the Justice League International, Captain Atom made a daring assault and crashed his jet into Major Force. The explosion gave Captain Atom his powers back and he neutralized Force.
