As mankind set out across the ocean, many legends of sea monsters surfaced such as that of the Kraken. Whether it was true or not, one such monster was sighted when an assassin from the Batman Revenge Squad summoned it to kill Pirate-Batman. Blue Beetle dispatched it while Booster Gold took out the assassin.
