Atlas Moths are the largest moths in the world and can be found in tropic regions of Southeast Asia. They are known to have a wingspan of 10-12 inches, a disproportionately smaller hairy body, and secrete a brown silk. The moths' name origin is unclear. Some postulate it had to do with a Greek reference to a Titan of the same name, while others think it is because of its wing patterns. In Hong Kong, the moth is referred to as a Snake's Head Moth.
Killer Moth has managed to create a strain of larger and more aggressive Atlas Moths. Once, he engaged them against Batman in his Mothcave. However, Batman defeated them with an electric Batarang and gas.
