History

Origin

Damian Wayne is the son of Bruce Wayne and Catwoman in Alfred Pennyworth's detective story, "The Knights of Tomorrow!". While just an infant, Bruce Wayne resigned himself to the fact his son would one day have to fight crime. Wayne declared he would make sure his son was worthy to be Batman aside from birth right. Damian Wayne was trained by his father but lacked confidence in himself and the tragedy that defined his father and Dick Grayson. During this time, he met at least one other hero, a Green Lantern. While still in junior high school, he attended the gala opening of the Batman Museum with his parents.

It became apparent he inherited the attitude of Selina Kyle-Wayne and the heart of Bruce Wayne. While he was looking at the Hall of Holyisms, the museum was attacked by a new Joker. He witnessed the deaths of his parents before being pulled to safety by Batman. After the funeral, Wayne was still unsure of himself. After Batman gave him his advice and left to confront Joker, Wayne eyed one of the two Robin costumes on display.

Wayne took up the mantle of Robin and joined Batman in battle against the original and second Joker. Robin went after the second and defeated him while Batman tried to disarm Joker's Joker Gas weapon. With both villains defeated, Batman formally offered the role of Robin to Damian Wayne to which he accepted. The Dynamic Duo was reborn and the war on crime continued stronger than ever. When the time came, Dick Grayson retired and passed on the mantle of Batman to Wayne. A few years later, he and his son, the next Robin, became the latest duo to keep Gotham City safe.

Trivia

This Version of Damian Wayne is similar to Bruce Wayne, Jr. rather than the actual Damian Wayne.
