Chronos aka David Clinton was once a petty criminal. After some thinking, he realized he was not taking enough time to plan his crimes. While in prison, Clinton finished an invention based on his interest in timepieces. The device used chronal-energy and allowed Clinton limited control over time. He manipulated the stock market in his favor to build up his wealth. As Chronos, he used his powers to commit more crimes and was infamous for having a garish costume, even for a supervillain. One of Chronos' modes of transportation is the Flying Sundial. Over the years, Chronos clashed with the Atom, Ray Palmer, and the second Atom (Ryan Choi).
