The Chlorocannon is a creation of Ra's al Ghul. It was designed to instantly grow and mature giant carnivorous plants for his plan to save the world. To do so, Ra's sent his henchmen to steal certain crucial technologies. The last was a remote power module from S.T.A.R. Labs. Once activated it can't be shut down as it uses an advanced form of wireless energy transfer. Mounted witin the Flying Island, Ra's would soon achieve his dreams. That is until Robin, Aqualad, and Speedy short circuited the cannon's firing mechanism with three cryogenic trick arrows. The Chlorocannon was destroyed when Ra's activated the self-destruct protocol to initiate his back up plan.
