Brother Eye was an idea of Professor Myron Forest. He is a scientist working for the Global Peace Agency. The GPA selected Forest to lead Project O.M.A.C. (One Man Army Corps) for their interest in his satellite. Brother Eye was created and housed in an orbiting satellite around Earth. With its alien energies, it transformed the weakly janitor, Buddy Blank, into O.M.A.C., champion of the GPA. It is believed that Brother Eye interfaces with Blank's body through a special belt he wears. It downloads information into Blank's brain or conducts instant remote molecular rearrangement to gift him with various super powers.
It appears to have limited intelligence and sometimes questions O.M.A.C.'s orders. Over time, it demonstrated its basic function to transform Buddy Blank into O.M.A.C., enhanced O.M.A.C.'s legs to give him advanced jumping power, and surrounding O.M.A.C. in a personal shield. However, a steady stream of power is dedicated to O.M.A.C. and if O.M.A.C. were drained of that power, the satellite link with Brother would be disrupted. In another instance, if O.M.A.C. requires a modification that exceeds power levels, Brother will break the connection at zero.
